L.F. Jennings starts construction on new building in Kingstowne

L.F. Jennings Inc., a Falls Church-based general contractor, has broken ground on The Halle Cos. newest addition to their portfolio in Kingstowne, a master planned community in the Franconia-Springfield area of Fairfax County. Jennings is building an 8-story, 199,796 square-foot building that will offer a four-level parking garage, 5,000 square feet of retail on the ground floor and more than 100,000 square feet of office space. The architect for the project is Davis Carter Scott. The cast-in-place concrete building, which is being constructed to meet the specifications of a LEED silver rating, should be ready by early 2013.
