JPMorgan Chase opens a new office in Richmond

JPMorgan Chase has opened a new office in Richmond to serve Virginia businesses and corporations with more than $10 million in annual sales.

Mark Flatin will join the Richmond office as a senior banker focusing on companies with annual revenues of more than $250 million. Most recently, he was a managing director for SunTrust Bank for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast markets in its corporate and investment banking group.

Robert St. Jean, who has been with JPMorgan for more than 12 years, will also cover companies with more than $250 in annual sales. Nick Klym has been in the banking industry for 30 years, primarily serving commercial clients in Virginia. He will provide banking services to companies with sales up to $250 million.

JPMorgan has about 300 employees working in Virginia and plans to add more bankers in the Mid-Atlantic region over the next two years.
