James River begins service at Richmond airport
November 18, 2011 12:50 PM

new ground transportation service has begun at Richmond International Airport.

The Capital Region Airport Commission awarded a contract to Richmond-based James River Transportation to provide travelers with executive sedan service in the area and shuttle service to Fort Lee, Fort Picket, Fort A.P. Hill and Joint Base Langley-Eustis.

The new service is similar to James River’s Norfolk Airport service that started in 2006.

The company has an office staffed seven days a week on the first floor of the airport terminal. Reservations can be made online, by phone, by email or in person.
