HCA Virginia Health System chosen as a top company for kids
August 16, 2011 12:11 PMHCA Virginia Health System in Richmond was chosen as one of the top 10 Best Companies for Kids nationwide by Working Mother magazine.
The areas considered for making the list, in its first year, include prenatal programs, child care programs, parental leave and scholarships, among others, according to a press release by Working Mother. HCA, based in Nashville, Tenn., offers onsite day care along with every other Best Company for Kids. Other winners include Bank of America in Charlotte, N.C., and Discovery Communications in Silver Spring, M.D. Working Mother’s research initiative, Working Mother 100 Best Companies, is in its 26th year.
