Haygood Shopping Center in Virginia Beach sells for $28 million

Citybizlist in Washington, D. C., reports that Haywood Shopping Center, a grocery-anchored center located on Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach, has sold for $28 million. The buyer was an affiliate of Toronto/Florida-based North American Development Group (NADG). The property was NADG’s 26th shopping center acquisition over the past 27 months. 

The seller was Bell Partners Inc. The 165,000-square-foot center, located near Virginia Beach Town Center, is 95 percent occupied and is anchored by a Farm Fresh. Other tenants include Dollar Tree, Rite Aid and Bank of America.
