The Virginia Tech Foundation has selected Hall Associates Inc. in Roanoke to manage the Turner Street Project in Blacksburg. Tommy Hendrix, director of facilities management for Hall Associates, will oversee the contract and assign a full-time property manager and maintenance technician to the premises.
Hall Associates also will supervise the build out of tenant spaces as they are leased.The Turner Street Project, located at 212 Turner St., is a four-story, 141,000-square-foot, mixed use office and retail building. The first floor will be used as retail space, and the remaining three floors will be dedicated to Virginia Tech office space. The project is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Virginia Tech Real Estate Foundation Inc.
