Forum will give insights into healthcare workforce
December 26, 2012 3:00 AMThe “New Frontiers for Virginia’s Healthcare Workforce” forum will be held Wednesday, Jan. 9 in Henrico at the Perimeter Center Building, from 10 a.m.-Noon.
The forum will explore recently released data from The Virginia Department of Health Professions Healthcare Workforce Data Center which includes insight into five workforces in Virginia: dentists, dental hygienists, nurses, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The data can be found at http://www.dhp.virginia.gov/hwdc/default.htm.
The Virginia Department of Health Professions licenses health care providers and enforces standards governing their practice.
