Fire Mountain Grill Property sells for $2 million in Suffolk

Michael D. Sifen, has purchased The Fire Mountain Grill property at 1202 Main Street in Suffolk from Realty Income Corp. for $2 million as an investment. He plans to raze the 12,000-square-foot former restaurant building located on a nearly three-acre site and redevelop it into 25,000 square feet of retail space. Troy Parker and Eric Stanley of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer handled sale negotiations on behalf of the buyer.

Just what we need, more little stores.  They’re already building 2 new “complexes” across the street.  What we need IS another retaurant (Golden Corral, etc..) for downtown so the people can have more options.  We had Golden Corral, it left. We had Ryans, same owner but changed names to Fire Mountain. What do we really have as a big box place to eat other than Applebee’s and two (2) Mexican restaurants.
