DuPont purchases Virginia Beach-based Coastal Training Technologies Corp.
October 15, 2008 9:30 AMDelaware-based DuPont has purchased Virginia Beach-based Coastal Training Technologies Corp., a producer of training programs. The acquisition will help DuPont grow its Safety Resources Group.
“Coastal is a dynamic and creative company that produces world-class training products,” said James R. Weigand, vice president and general manager, DuPont Safety Resources, in a statement. “By combining their capabilities with our innovative science and safety experience, we will be able to address a wide range of client needs from consultative safety leadership to instructor-led training to e-learning based systems.”
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
