Richmond-based energy company Dominion Resources Inc. has announced that two senior executives will trade job responsibilities.
Effective April 1, Diane Leopold will become senior vice president-Dominion Transmission, while Paul E. Ruppert will become senior vice president-Business Development & Generation Construction.
“Diane and Paul are extremely talented, intelligent, proven leaders who have contributed significantly to Dominion’s success.” Thomas F. Farrell II, chairman, president and chief executive officer, said in a statement. “This rotation is another step toward strengthening the depth of understanding and expertise among our senior management team.“
Leopold, who will report to Dominion Energy CEO Gary L. Sypolt, will be responsible for a gas transmission system that has links to other major pipelines and to markets in the Midwest, mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States. Dominion Transmission also operates the nation’s largest underground natural gas storage system.
Ruppert, who will report to Dominion Generation CEO David A. Christian, will manage all new utility and merchant generation and generation-related environmental projects. He will also be responsible for maintaining the projects’ safety, timelines and budgets.
