Dollar Tree reports record sales
February 05, 2010 10:41 AMConsumers continue to turn to Dollar Tree Stores’ discounted goods.
The Chesapeake-based retailer reported record sales for 2009 of $5.23 billion, up 12.6 percent from $4.64 billion the prior year.
Revenue from existing stores was up 7.2 percent.
During the fourth quarter, Dollar Tree reported sales of $1.56 billion, up 12.2 percent over the fourth quarter 2008.
