CSC to sell part of Italian business
October 28, 2012 4:29 PMCSC Corp. has entered an agreement with Dedagroup, an Italian IT company, to sell the consulting and systems integration services parts of its business in Italy.
The agreement includes the sale of pan-Italian consulting and systems integration projects as well as fashion industry software products and services.
The move, CSC said, would allow the company to rebalance its business portfolio with more specialized global solutions. The Falls Church-based IT company will keep a presence in Italy, providing cloud,
infrastructure and health-care offerings to multinational companies.
The company expects the agreement to be finalized within 60 days.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
