What was your most memorable case?
“I’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to try a wide range of both criminal and civil cases.  Whether a criminal case with the death penalty a possibility or a product liability case, the most memorable are those when the client thinks he or she has gotten a fair result.”

How can the criminal justice system be improved?
“I remain an advocate for experienced prosecutors and judges who are not afraid to take difficult and controversial stands when their easiest option is to simply prosecute or sentence to the maximum.  While certainly deterrence is an important function of criminal justice, we can’t forget our duty to rehabilitate those who can be saved.”
