Why did you specialize in assurance services?
“At the time I entered public accounting, the professional staff performed work in all areas, such as accounting, auditing and tax services. As a result, the staff became skilled in all these areas. In 1989, I got very involved with the peer review program in Virginia, which is directly related to accounting and audit services. Accordingly, I have been very involved in such services for my entire career of 32 years.”
