Sports Complex Holdings LLC, the new owner of a 115-acre sports facility in Chesterfield County, formerly known as SportsQuest, has renamed the facility River City Sportsplex and selected CBRE|Richmond to manage the property.

Sports Complex Holdings acquired the foreclosed property at auction in May. It is located on Genito Road near the Powhite Parkway Extension.  The company is working with Chesterfield County officials to ensure the recreational use of the facility continues as prescribed in the county’s current lease.

“We are pleased to partner with CBRE|Richmond for property management of River City Sportsplex,” Chuck Dobbins, vice president of Sports Complex Holdings, said in a statement. “Our plan for the complex is to work with CBRE|Richmond to make appropriate capital improvements including completing the front entrance on Genito Road, and to continue improving and maintaining the property to provide the best user experience. Long term, we will be seeking an investment group or future owner that will be able to maximize the full potential of River City Sportsplex.”
