Central Virginia hunger projects have new leader
November 05, 2012 5:52 PMDouglas “Doug” Pick has been named chief executive officer of Richmond-based FeedMore, effective Nov. 26.
Pick succeeds Fay Lohr, who is retiring after serving as president and CEO of FeedMore since 2008.
FeedMore programs – the Central Virginia Food Bank, Meals on Wheels Serving Central Virginia and the Community Kitchen –
provide hunger relief to children, families and seniors in 31 counties and five cities in the region.
Pick has been the owner of a leadership consulting company, Travrse, since 2011.
Before that, he spent 12 years as an executive with Capital One in Richmond.
