Catholic Charities USA has purchased a Class A building in Alexandria for $24.7 million from LCOR Inc., a Bethesda, Md.-based real estate investment trust.  The 67,073 square-foot building at 2050 Ballenger Ave. sold for about $368 per square foot, according to CoStar Group. It was completed in 2009 and has not had any tenants. Catholic Charities plans to relocate its office from the Canal Center in Alexandria to the four-story structure.  Edwin Clark and Steve Hoffeditz of CB Richard Ellis represented the seller, and Craig Estey and Rasmussen represented the buyer.
