Cadmus Credit Union in Richmond affiliates with free ATM network

Just in time for holiday shopping, Cadmus Credit Union in Richmond has joined the nation’s largest credit union-owned, fee-free, ATM and point-of-sale network. By affiliating with Credit Union 24, based out of Tallahassee, Fla., Cadmus said Monday that it can provide members with access to thousands of free ATMs and hundreds of thousands of point-of-sale terminals at major merchants nationwide.
“Partnering with Credit Union 24 provides a tremendous boost to the level of service that we deliver to our members,” Jim Winkler, president of Cadmus Credit Union, said in a statement. “Now, our members have extensive, fee-free access to their checking and savings accounts via ATMs and at merchants nationwide, which is typically a hallmark of much larger financial institutions. “
Cadmus Credit Union is a member-owned, nonprofit financial institution established by the employees of William Byrd Press Inc. in 1951. Today, Cadmus has more than 750 members and assets of more than $2.4 million.
Credit Union 24 is a credit union-owned, electronic funds transfer network that provides nationwide ATM and point-of-sale (POS) access to credit unions. It offers the nation’s largest surcharge-free, ATM access with more than 65,000 locations.
