CACI wins $81 million BRAC task order

Arlington-based CACI International has received an $81 million task order form the U.S. Army to moves information technology and network systems to the Aberdeen Proving Ground as required by the Defense Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC).

Under the order, CACI will be responsible for planning the move of the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) resources. The move will realign organizations from Ft. Monmouth, N.J., Fort Belvoir, Eatontown, N.J., Huntsville, Ala., and Fort Knox, Ky.

The contract will last 27 months if all options are exercised.

CACI will plan, disassemble, transport and synchronize components involving information technology, systems engineering and network automation.
