CACI International Inc. has received a $45 million task order to upgrade the U.S. Army’s system that provides intelligence to commanders in the field.

Under the one-year contract, which includes a six-month option, the Arlington-based IT contractor will provide program management and technical engineering services for the Army’s Common Ground Systems.

The system streamlines intelligence and surveillance data the Army sends to troops abroad. The enhanced system will improve receiving, processing and sharing intelligence data.
