CACI awarded contract worth up to $91 million
October 25, 2010 2:16 PM

CACI International Corp. has been awarded a prime contract to consolidate the medical records of Armed Force members.

The Arlington-based IT company could receive as much as $91 million over five years through the purchase agreement.

CACI will support the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) and Department of Defense (DoD) through a program called Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record (VLER). VLER hopes to integrate VA, DoD, and private health-care provider data in order to ensure that no veteran has a delay in service as a result of a transition from active duty to veteran status.
