Blacksburg companies merge
September 13, 2011 6:03 PMManufacturer Schultz-Creehan Holdings Inc. has acquired Aeroprobe Corp., an international supplier of custom aerodynamic and hydrodynamic measurement systems.
The companies have combined operations under the Aeroprobe name at Schultz-Creehan’s Kraft Drive address in Blacksburg.
Before the merger, Schultz-Creehan had been Aeroprobe’s sole manufacturer of multi-hole probe instrumentation.
Officials said the merger brings design and manufacturing together while enhancing Aeroprobe’s mechanical, electronic and materials capabilities.
