APM Terminals is relocating its Americas headquarters to Portsmouth, where last year it opened a $450 million marine terminal.

APM Terminals, based in The Netherlands, is an independent subsidiary of A.P. Moller-Maersk Group in Denmark. The company owns Maersk, the biggest container shipping line in the world.

The city and APM Terminals are still negotiating an incentive package, according to The Virginian-Pilot. (The Virginian-Pilot)
