Ambulance service promotes its four-wheel drive vehicles
December 23, 2010 12:50 PMEagle Medical Transports (EMT) said Thursday that it’s the only ambulance service in Newport News whose vehicles are equipped with four-wheel drive. In a business where being stuck or slowed by bad weather can delay a patient’s arrival to a hospital, four-wheel drive is critical, said Kenneth Franklin, CEO of EMT.
“Whether it’s an emergency or not, our patients need to get where they’re going,” Franklin said in a statement.
Such strategic marketing raises the question: What about Santa’s sleigh? Surely, the elves have added the latest technology.
