Altria’s headquarters move today

Altria Group Inc.’s has moved its headquarters from New York to the Henrico County office of its Philip Morris USA subsidiary.
The company spun off its international division on Friday.
The move gives the Richmond area its 14th Fortune 1000 company, but it is expected to lose one later this year when Performance Food Group goes private.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch reported the area will not receive many new jobs from the move.
