Alstom Power, one of the largest private employers in Richmond, has reorganized its office portfolio, boosting its square footage about 2,500 square to 141,579 square feet.
According to Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, which assisted the company with the change, the reorganization will increase the capacity for employee growth, update existing facilities and reduce operating costs.
Alstom Power, a manufacturer and service provider for power generation facilities that employs about 800 people in the Richmond area, will occupy the following properties: 19,425 square feet in Arboretum VII at 9211 Arboretum Parkway, 99,057 square feet in Waterford II at 2800 Waterford Lake Drive, 9,080 square feet in Waterford I at 2820 Waterford Lake Drive and 14,017 square feet in Boulders III at 1100 Boulders Parkway.
Jason Guillot and Jeffrey A. Cooke of Thalhimer represented Alstom in the lease transactions.
