This sparkling Richmond hotel opened in December 2009. The hotel combines state-of-the-art event facilities, Southern hospitality, mouth-watering cuisine and an exquisite spa. The 10,475-square-foot Capital Ballroom can hold up to 850 guests for a banquet. The deluxe room can also be divided to suit smaller events.

The Meadow Event Park, which opened in September 2009, offers a unique setting in Caroline County for events ranging from consumer trade shows to weddings and equestrian events. It is the new home of the State Fair of Virginia.

The park recently underwent an $81 million project that included renovation of some facilities and construction of others. The complex includes The Farm Bureau Center, a 75,000-square-foot exhibition hall, The Americraft Pavilion, which offers 10,000 square feet of multi-purpose space; the Union Bank & Trust Hall, a high-end executive conference center; and the Southern States Legends Stable, which includes four equestrian show rings.

Meadow Event Park has historic ties to the thoroughbred racing. It is the birthplace of Secretariat, the famed racehorse that won the Triple Crown in 1973.
The park is conveniently located halfway between Richmond and Fredericksburg, off of Interstate 95.
