A convenient meeting location in Northern Virginia’s countryside
Loudoun County is an ideal spot to put on a meeting or conference, offering metropolitan conveniences but tucked away from distractions. Loudoun, located just 25 miles from Washington, D.C., is a historic region known for its horse country, vineyards, picturesque landscape and charming towns and villages. In addition, the eastern part of the county is home to Washington Dulles International Airport, one of the largest airports in the world.
The county offers something for everyone. Wine lovers can choose from more than a dozen wineries, located in unique tasting rooms spread throughout the county’s rolling hills.
One of the county’s historic must-sees is the Historic Movern Park, the 1,000-acre estate of Virginia Gov. Westmoreland Davis. Other attractions include Ball’s Bluff Battlefield Regional Park, the site of an 1861 Civil War battle, and the Oatlands Plantation, which features an 1804, Greek Revival mansion.
The county offers a variety of shopping outlets, including unique boutiques of Leesburg and Middleburg, to the popular Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets and Dulles Town Center, and to the general store-style Purcellville Marketplace.
