Virginia Community Bank names A. Preston Moore as new CEO

The board of directors of Virginia Community Bank has named A. Preston Moore, Jr. as the bank’s new president and CEO. Moore succeeds A. Pierce Stone, who has led the bank as CEO since its founding in 1976. Stone will continue in his role as board chairman.
Moore has been with the bank since 2008, serving as senior vice president and chief credit officer. He has nearly 30 years of commercial lending and development experience.
The headquarters for Virginia Community Bank is located in Louisa County. It has eight locations in Central Virginia.
