Virginia Commerce Bank names two new executives

Gill H. Waller will become senior vice president of government contract lending at the bank. Previously, he was senior vice president of government contract lending at United Bank.
Waller will be charged with increasing the market share of Virginia Commerce Bank’s government contract lending division.
Edward F. Powell will become vice president of commercial lending. Powell most recently was a commercial lender at Union First Market Bank. He will be based in the bank’s Battlefield branch in Manassas, and oversee the bank’s south lending region.
