Keith Martin has been named vice president of public policy and general counsel at the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. Martin will join the chamber on July 18.
Martin will direct the chamber’s public policy team and lead its state and federal advocacy efforts. He also will coordinate the work of the chamber’s policy committees and coalitions on civil justice,
education, energy, health care, management relations, natural resources, tax policy and transportation.
Martin was policy director for the Virginia Department of Transportation. He previously served as director of legal and regulatory affairs for the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.
