Yvonne Cockram McGhee, executive director of The Virginia Bar Association, has been installed as president of the National Association of Bar Executives.
NABE, an affiliate of the American Bar Association, provides professional development and networking opportunities to 600 decision-makers at bar associations and legal organizations across the United States.
Members represent 250 state, local and national bar groups that serve more than 1.2 million judges, attorneys and other legal professionals.
The Virginia Bar Association, the commonwealth’s largest statewide voluntary bar organization, has 5,500 members.
Before becoming executive director of the VBA in July 2011, McGhee was executive director of the Fairfax Bar Association as for 11 years.
