Tom Stiehle has been promoted to chief financial officer and vice president of business management for Ingalls Shipbuilding.
Ingalls Shipbuilding is a division of Newport News-based Huntington Ingalls Industries. Ingalls Shipbuilding, a warship-manufacturer, has locations in Virginia Beach, Mississippi, Louisiana and California.
Before being promoted Stiehle was vice president of contracts and pricing for Ingalls Shipbuilding.
In his new role, Stiehle will be responsible for all financial, contracts, estimating and pricing, and business management functions across the division. He’ll also lead Ingalls’ IT function, which includes the internal IT services, IT strategy development and management of the shipyard’s subcontract with CSC.
