Stihl AG, the founding company of Stihl Inc., has appointed Karl Angler to its board.
Angler, 54, will replace Klaus Detlefsen, a member of Stihl AG’s board of directors, who is retiring on April 30, 2012. Since 2002, Angler has served as the vice president of finance for Stihl Inc., Stihl’s U.S. subsidiary, which is based in Virginia Beach. He will move to Germany on April 1, 2012 and assume his new duties on May 1, 2012.
