Robert F. Riley named to The Virginia Chamber of Commerce’s energy committee.

Robert F. Riley, chair of the energy practice group at the law firm of Williams Mullen, will serve as chair of the energy committee for The Virginia Chamber of Commerce.
Riley counsels retail and industrial clients regarding their energy requirements including electricity, natural gas purchases and solar and energy efficiency transactions.
Riley was formerly general counsel for numerous subsidiaries of Edison Mission Energy, an affiliate of Southern California Edison Company. Previously, he also served as a trial attorney with the enforcement section of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
The Virginia Chamber’s energy committee works with stakeholders and policymakers to advance a comprehensive energy policy.
