Retail Industry Leaders Association names government relations vp
May 09, 2011 1:28 PMThe Retailer Industry Leaders Association has named Bill Hughes senior vice president for government relations.
Hughes has had a 27-year career on Capitol Hill, including serving as chief of staff for Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, R-Texas, senior manager of government relations for General Electric, and policy director for former Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert, R-Ill.
RILA is a trade association of retail companies.
