Julie Dillon has been named director of marketing for One Loudoun, a 358-acre, mixed-used project in Loudoun County. Before joining Miller and Smith, a private, McLean-based developer, Dillon worked as vice president, sales and marketing, for EYA, Inc. and as director of marketing for Van Metre Cos.
Miller and Smith recently teamed up with a public Japanese company, Sekisui House Ltd., to build One Loudoun. It’s designed to include more than 1,000 residential homes, 700,000 square feet of retail, a hotel, movie theatre and as much as three million square feet of office space. The project initially got underway in 2007 and has completed more than $30 million in public infrastructure, including an elementary school and 15 lane miles of new roads.
