Neustar names J. Beckworth Burr as chief privacy officer and deputy general counselor
May 23, 2012 2:41 PMSterling-based Neustar Inc. has named J. Beckwith Burr chief privacy officer and deputy general counselor.
Burr’s position at Neurstar, a global information and analysis provider to Internet, telecommunications, entertainment and marketing industries, will require her to protect customer and consumer information.
The appointment is effective June 1.
Burr is a partner in the Communications, Privacy and Internet Law Privacy Group at Wilmer Hale.
