Richard R. Pearce has been named vice president for administration and finance at the University of Mary Washington and treasurer of the UMW Foundation.
He had been serving in the same position in an acting capacity since last year.
As vice president for administration and finance, Pearce is the university’s CFO, directing facilities and capital projects, public safety and community services, human resources and business operations.
UMW Foundation is the nonprofit organization that manages and administers assets to benefit the university.
