ManTech International Corp. has acquired TranTech Inc., a provider of IT, networking and cyber-security services to the federal government.
TranTech, based in Alexandria, has a prime position on a $12 billion contract with the Defense Information Systems Agency.
“ManTech has a consistent strategy of acquiring companies that drive our organic growth and help us provide additional services to our defense and intelligence customers,” ManTech Chairman and CEO
George J. Pedersen said in a statement. “We believe that the acquisition of TranTech’s employees and capabilities and the ability to deliver services through the ENCORE II vehicle are consistent with that strategy.”
