Kim Martinez is the new director of sales at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg. Martinez was director of sales at the Marriott Grand Resort & Spa in Point Clear, Ala., a property similar in size to the Lansdowne, a 500-acre resort with 296 rooms and 14 suites. In her previous position she was named regional and global Sales Leader of the Year and received Marriott’s Golden Circle Award. She has also worked as a national sales manager at the following properties in California: Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa, Mark Hopkins Hotel and the Argent Hotel.
