Interstate Hotels & Resorts to get new president, CEO
June 14, 2011 4:41 AMInterstate Hotels & Resorts is undergoing leadership change.
The country’s largest independent hotel management company has hired Jim Abrahamson as president and COO. He will become CEO before the end of the year.
Current CEO Thomas F. Hewitt will remain chairman.
Abrahamson was previously president, the Americas, for Intercontinental Hotel Group, and held senior leadership positions with Hyatt Corp., Marcus Corp. and Hilton Worldwide.
