iCore Networks names executive vice president of finance

McLean-based iCore Networks has named Eduardo Sanchez its executive vice president of finance.

In his new role, Sanchez will oversee iCore’s product and market expansion from a financial operations standpoint.  He also will focus on the company’s operational and organizational strategy, mergers and acquisitions, financial planning and performance, contracts/legal issues, investment banking relationships, and investor relations.

Sanchez served as finance leader/CFO for three divisions at Primus Telecommunications Group (PTGi), leading the restructuring/divestiture of its ICS, retail, and Brazil divisions.

Before joining PTGi, Sanchez served in executive level positions at RCN, CTA and Verizon. 

Sanchez holds an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, and a master’s degree in finance from IESA.WHAT’S THAT?

iCore is a major provider of hosted unified communications and cloud applications services.
