Christopher D. Kastner has been named corporate vice president and general manager, corporate development, at Newport News-based Huntington Ingalls Industries.
Kastner initially will explore redeployment opportunities for the company’s Avondale shipyard in Louisiana outside Huntington Ingalls Industries’ core military shipbuilding business.
Kastner previously served as vice president and chief financial officer for HII’s Ingalls Shipbuilding division.
