Grant Thornton LLP has added four senior professionals to its mid-Atlantic practice in McLean.
Cherie Kummer and Margery Van Vleet have joined Grant Thornton as a tax directors. Kummer specializes in process improvement and technical analysis of accounting and reporting for income taxes and applicable internal controls. Van Vleet serves as the CORPTAX implementation and services specialist for Grant Thornton. She also assists clients with other software implementations.
Mike Verderame joins the firm as a business consulting services director. He specializes in the areas of process improvement, information system selection and project management.
Francine Vonakis joins Grant Thornton as an audit executive director and mid-Atlantic area leader of employee benefit plan services.
