Gannett hires former Myspace executive
October 04, 2011 4:18 AMGannett Co. Inc. has named Tom Cox as vice president of corporate development.
Cox will be in charge of mergers and acquisitions for the company. He succeeds Dan Ehrman, who will retire Nov. 30.
Cox was senior vice president/head of business development for Myspace, where he led business development and the launch of new revenue and distribution opportunities.
Before joining Myspace, Cox was co-founder of consulting firm Stratique Partners LLC and led business development efforts at AOL.
