Frank DeMasi named deputy director of government services at Gibbs & Cox
June 13, 2011 2:38 PMGibbs & Cox Inc., an Arlington-based naval architecture and marine engineering firm, has hired Frank DeMasi as deputy director of its Government Services Group. DeMasi will be responsible for carrying out strategic initiatives to expand the group’s expertise of providing life-cycle design and engineering support services to U.S. naval and maritime defense customers.
Prior to joining Gibbs & Cox, DeMasi worked for 10 years at SAIC as vice president and deputy operations manager of the Defense Engineering and Management Solutions operation. He helped the organization grow from an $80 million to a $298 million operation. He’s also a retired Captain of the U.S. Navy with 29 years of service.
