U.Va. has reappointed Bob Bruner as dean of the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
Bruner began his tenure in August 2005, and his new term will last through July 2015.
U.Va. said his reappointment was reviewed by a committee of faculty, staff, students and alumni, who praised his communications, relationship with alumni and use of technology to communicate news.
Previously, Bruner was founding executive director of Darden’s Batten Institute, which focuses on entrepreneurship and innovation.
He has been a Darden faculty member since 1982 and teaches finance and management.
