Richmond-based Mid-Atlantic Convenience Stores (MACS), announced the appointment Monday of Dan Pastor as its new CEO. He succeeds Steven Uphoff, who will remain on MAC’s board, while also serving as an adviser to the company.
Pastor has more than 20 years of experience in the fuel, convenience and grocery store industries.
He previously served as vice president of fuels and convenience for Giant Eagle.
He also has been active on various industry boards and committees and is a previous chair of the Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association and Pennsylvania Convenience Store Council.
MACS, which operates convenience stores in Virginia and Maryland, is the largest EXXON/Mobil fuel distributor in the U.S.
