CSC has received a task order worth up to $86 million to continue providing emergency telecommunications services for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
The order has a one-year base period and three, one-year options and one four-month option. The task order comes under the DHS Eagle contract, which was initially given to CSC in 2006.
Under the contract, the Falls Church-based IT contractor will provide engineering, planning, implementation, and maintenance support for telecommunications services of the National Communications System. This gives federal, state and local users priority access to telecommunications during times of crisis.
